Toyota’s wins include the Overall Brand Award in the “Mainstream” category.
Canadian Black Book’s Best Retained Value Awards recognize vehicles that retain the highest percentage of their original manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) after four years. For 2025, the CBB program analyzed 2022 model year vehicles in 15 different categories, plus four Overall Brand categories.
“We’re honoured to be recognized by Canadian Black Book with seven Retained Value Awards,” said Robert Tsang, VP, Sales and Marketing, Toyota Canada. “These awards reflect the long-term value built into every Toyota, and we’re grateful for the trust our customers place in us. We’re proud to offer a diverse lineup that gives Canadians choice, while remaining committed to delivering the quality they can rely on.”
Toyota was recognized with the following awards:
- Overall Brand Award: Mainstream
- Mainstream Car: Toyota Corolla
- Mainstream PHEV: Toyota RAV4 Prime
- Small/Mid Pickup: Toyota Tacoma
- Full-size Pickup: Toyota Tundra
- Mainstream Sub-Compact/Compact SUV: Toyota C-HR
- Mainstream Mid/Full-Size SUV: Toyota 4Runner
In fact, Toyota vehicles swept the top three spots in two important categories. In the Mainstream Car category, the Toyota Camry placed second and the Toyota Prius placed third. And, in the Mainstream Sub-Compact / Compact SUV category, the assembled-in-Canada Toyota RAV4 placed second while the Toyota Corolla Cross placed third. This follows Toyota’s continued efforts to offer a full range of vehicles - including cars - to meet the needs, lifestyles and budgets of every Canadian driver.
